1. Information We Process
Game Maps is designed to work without an account. Depending on how you use the app, it may process:
- your device location (GPS), used to show your real position on a stylized map and to provide navigation, routing, and ETA;
- map, search, and routing requests needed to render tiles and calculate directions;
- purchase, entitlement, and subscription status to unlock premium map styles and features;
- basic technical and diagnostic information required for app reliability and crash analysis.
Game Maps does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email, or contacts.
2. How We Use Information
We use data to:
- display your current location in the selected map style;
- provide turn-by-turn navigation, routes, distance, and ETA, including on Apple CarPlay;
- unlock and restore purchases and manage subscription access;
- maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
3. Service Providers
Game Maps uses third-party infrastructure to operate. Based on the current app implementation, this includes Apple for in-app purchases, RevenueCat for subscription management, Mapbox for map rendering, geocoding, and directions (which receives location and routing requests to provide its service), and Vercel for hosting these legal pages.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers above to operate core features, or when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect users and the platform.
5. Data Retention
Location is used to provide live features and is not retained by us to build a profile of you. Service providers may process and retain data according to their own policies. Limited diagnostic data may remain in logs for a short period.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can control location access at any time in iOS Settings, and manage subscriptions through Apple. Where required by applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of information. Rights available to you depend on your location.
7. Children’s Privacy
Game Maps is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. If we learn that prohibited personal data has been collected from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, depending on where infrastructure providers operate, subject to applicable law.
10. Trademarks
Map styles are original, artistic interpretations. Game Maps is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any game developer or publisher. All third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
